PECPool (“PECPool,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you access or use the PECPool website, mining pool, user panel, miner monitoring services, miner management tools, APIs, notifications, and related services.

PECPool is currently operated as an independent Bitcoin mining operation and technology platform. By accessing or using PECPool services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is legally required for a specific type of processing, we will request it separately.

Please do not provide personal information that is not reasonably necessary for the use of PECPool services.

2. How We Use Information

We may use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Creating, verifying, maintaining, and securing user accounts.
  • Operating the Bitcoin mining pool and processing submitted mining shares.
  • Calculating estimated earnings, account balances, mining rewards, and payouts.
  • Processing automatic payouts and manual payout requests.

  • Sending service announcements, security notifications, payout information, and important operational updates.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations and responding to valid legal requests.
3. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your location and the applicable law, we may process information on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Performance of the service: processing necessary to provide mining, monitoring, account, payout, support, and management services requested by you.
  • Legitimate operational interests: protecting the platform, preventing abuse, improving services, maintaining records, and ensuring infrastructure reliability.
  • Consent: where consent is required for optional communications, analytics cookies, or other specific processing.
  • Legal obligations: where processing or record retention is required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or valid legal request.
4. Bitcoin Wallet Addresses and Blockchain Information

Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public blockchain. When a payout is processed, information such as the destination wallet address, transaction identifier, transferred amount, and transaction time may become publicly visible through the Bitcoin network and blockchain explorers.

Blockchain records are generally permanent and cannot be modified or deleted by PECPool. You should avoid using a wallet address if public association of that address with your activity creates a privacy concern.

PECPool does not control how independent third parties analyze, index, or display public blockchain information.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Service providers: providers that support hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, security, analytics, notifications, backups, monitoring, or other technical operations.
  • Bitcoin network participants: wallet addresses and transaction information are transmitted to the Bitcoin network when payouts are processed.
  • Legal and security requirements: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend the security and rights of PECPool.
  • Operational restructuring: if PECPool is transferred, reorganized, incorporated, merged, or acquired in the future, relevant information may be transferred to the successor operator subject to applicable privacy requirements.
  • With your instructions: information may be shared when you intentionally use features such as Watch Links, APIs, integrations, or other sharing tools.

Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

6. Watch Links and Shared Access

A Watch Link may allow other people to view selected mining information without signing in to your account. You are responsible for choosing which accounts and information are included and for deciding who receives the link.

Anyone who obtains an active Watch Link may be able to view the information made available through that link. You should disable a Watch Link when it is no longer required or if it has been shared with an unintended person.

7. Cookies and Analytics

PECPool may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Maintaining authenticated sessions.
  • Remembering preferences and security settings.
  • Supporting essential website and panel functionality.
  • Preventing fraud and protecting accounts.
  • Measuring website usage and improving performance.

We may use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the public website. Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics cookies will be used only after the required consent has been obtained.

You may manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, account management, security, or other PECPool features from working correctly.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. These safeguards may include:

  • Encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
  • Account authentication and email verification.
  • Two-factor authentication.
  • Session and login monitoring.
  • Access restrictions for sensitive systems and information.
  • Wallet confirmation and additional checks for sensitive operations.
  • Security logs, monitoring, backups, and abuse-prevention controls.

No website, network, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, email accounts, two-factor authentication codes, devices, API credentials, and active sessions.

Never provide your password or two-factor authentication code through unofficial websites, private messages, or unverified support channels.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, processing payouts, keeping accounting records, and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information:

  • Account information may be retained while the account remains active.

  • Security, login, API, and technical logs may be retained for a limited period based on operational and security requirements.
  • Support communications may be retained while necessary to resolve requests and maintain a record of assistance provided.
  • Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being automatically replaced or deleted.

Some information may not be immediately deleted where retention is necessary to complete pending payouts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, protect users, or comply with applicable requirements.

Public Bitcoin blockchain records cannot be deleted or modified by PECPool.

10. Account Closure and Deletion Requests

You may request account closure through the available PECPool support or account-management process. Before processing a deletion request, we may need to verify your identity and confirm that no unresolved balance, payout, security review, or account dispute remains.

Where applicable, personal information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized. Certain operational, accounting, security, payout, and legal records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.

These rights are not absolute and may be limited by security, accounting, legal, contractual, technical, or operational requirements.

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before responding to a privacy request.

12. International Processing

PECPool services may use infrastructure and service providers located in different countries. As a result, information may be processed or stored outside the country in which you live.

Where required by applicable law, reasonable measures will be used to protect information transferred across borders.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

PECPool may contain links to third-party websites, wallet services, blockchain explorers, Telegram, social networks, or other external platforms.

PECPool does not control the privacy, security, or content practices of independent third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing information or using their services.

14. Children’s Privacy

PECPool services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to PECPool, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Users who have not reached the legal age required to enter into agreements in their location should use PECPool only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, where such use is legally permitted.

15. Security Incidents

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we may take steps to investigate, limit the impact, restore security, and notify affected users or authorities where required by applicable law.
