PECPool has introduced Watch Links, a secure view-only feature designed for users who need to share selected mining information without providing access to their main PECPool account.
A Watch Link creates a dedicated public dashboard URL that can display mining information selected by the account owner.
What Is a Watch Link?
A Watch Link is a unique view-only address that allows an authorized viewer to review selected PECPool mining statistics without signing in to the user's account.
It can be useful for mining farm owners, customers, operators, technical teams, partners, or other people who need visibility into mining performance but should not have access to account settings or sensitive operations.
Available Controls
When creating or editing a Watch Link, the account owner can:
- Select one or more mining accounts
- Select all eligible accounts when required
- Enable or disable the Watch Link
- Choose which supported information is displayed
- Copy or open the generated link
- Display a QR code for easier sharing
Information Available Through Watch Links
Depending on the settings selected by the owner, a Watch Link may display:
- Current hashrate
- Mining charts
- Worker information
- Account balances
- Mining earnings
- Pending or completed payout information where enabled
The available information may change as PECPool continues to improve the Watch Links feature.
View-Only Security
Watch Links do not provide access to account passwords, wallet changes, payout requests, security settings, API credentials, or miner-management commands.
However, anyone who obtains an active Watch Link may be able to view the information included in that link. Users should therefore share Watch Links only with authorized people.
Disable Access at Any Time
The account owner can disable a Watch Link whenever it is no longer required or if the link has been shared with an unintended person.
Disabling the Watch Link prevents future access through that URL without changing the user's PECPool password or main account settings.
Designed for Mining Operations
Watch Links make it easier to provide transparent mining visibility while keeping administrative and security controls protected inside the authenticated PECPool panel.
The feature is available through the Watch Links menu in the PECPool user panel.
