Bitcoin is trading near $64,600 after moving between approximately $63,250 and $65,040 during the latest session. The market remains caught between recovering institutional demand and macroeconomic uncertainty, with the $65,000–$66,700 region acting as an important resistance zone.
Bitcoin’s mining difficulty decreased by approximately 5% during the network’s latest adjustment, falling from 133.87 trillion to 127.17 trillion. The reduction eases mining conditions for operators that remain connected to the network.
Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark announced that it mined 614 BTC during June 2026. The company’s operational hashrate reached 50 exahashes per second, while its total Bitcoin holdings increased to 13,924 BTC by the end of the month.
With Bitcoin mining economics under pressure from historically low hashprice levels of mining revenue and rising network competition, AI and HPC infrastructure revenue has emerged as a stabilizing and, in some cases, significantly larger growth driver.
Bitcoin miners are back to business as usual after last month’s Arctic blast iced operations across the U.S., and the network’s hashrate has clawed its way back above the 1 zettahash per second (ZH/s) mark. Even so, mining revenue is painfully lean to start March at under $30 per petahash per second (PH/s), and difficulty is projected to climb yet again.
According to the latest data, Bitcoin’s computing firepower has cranked up to a blazing all-time high of 1,157 exahash per second (EH/s). This climb in hashrate hasn’t taken a coffee break, even as prices dip and mining profits feel more like leftovers than a feast.
